This Tutorial shows you the most important steps to create your own project with MeshWarpServer. It helps if you have watched the Introduction to MeshWarpServer beforehand.
I’m having an issue at the output step. I’ve set everything up just as you have– after choosing a 1×1 mesh in the mesh warp editor window, I still have a blank output window. I’m sure I am missing one small step?
Hi. I love this Meshwarpserver, thanks. I’m having trouble getting rid of the red lines on the output window. I have chosen “faces” only but it only takes them off the editor window not the output window. (Also the top bar doesn’t disappear when I “maximise” the window. I’m extending the screen for a projection using Windows 7. Can anyone help, please?
Hi Luke. Can you post screenshots and a step by step guide of what you are doing? This way its hard to tell whats going wrong.
Hi Maybites…This photo is from the projection, showing side of output window. You can see the lines and points used to warp the mesh which I don’t want on the final presentation. The projection is on a painted canvas which you see edge of in photo. On the top the bar is also visible. I tried “rescan” button but no effect https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/bb381a737f05cbad4ec9d1658a910da373826b24b74cbbf740e6a2d05bf3777a.jpg I am using latest version 009. Other shots are of extended screen showing settings. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/739dac897deecc0f10406393aae366800825b4186217b0231f90b153a1c0c6a2.jpg ..thanks! https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/1654df141609291cc16fcf73320f0b96e9a86799ed0e1965585bf8fef243e6f6.jpg
1. Inside the window “MeshWarpEditor” there is for each Mesh another pull-down-menu that allows to set the display properties (just right to the filename). This setting is currently set to “faces+lines+points”.
2. Go to SystemPreferences>Display and place your output screen (projector) to the LEFT of your desktop. Then press rescan again. With the Main-Toggle in the center of the same GUI-Element you send the output window full-screen to the scanned coordinates and the bar will vanish.
Thanks Maybites! It works now. So basically I prepared the output window in left hand screen and then moved it to the extended right hand screen when it was already maximised and already set to “faces”.
The issue of the output window not maximising and not losing the top bar on projection is continuing. It did work one time but not again. I keep pressing rescan and I have tried various sequences of trying to maximise window before extending the screen or after etc. I am losing heart now.
Hi I’ve got the window maximised but the top bar doesn’t disappear…
